HOW TO APPLY TO STUDY

  • The application form is submitted electronically at the address: electronic application form,
  • Fill required information,
  • Submit the attachments defined in the application condition, follow the insructions below.

INSTRUCTIONS ON THE SUBMISSION OF ATTACHMENTS TO THE APPLICATION FOR STUDY IN THE DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAM

Annexes to the application must be provided for each submitted application form in one of the following ways, electronic form is preferred:

SENDING ELECTRONICALLY

We recommend uploading all relevant attachments immediately when filing the application.

Attachments are uploaded in the Field Requirements tab at the bottom. Follow the on-screen instructions. Upload files in PDF format.

Select the Attached File Type depending on attachment which is being uploaded (corresponding types are listed below). Press "Browse" to select the file and upload it to your application.

Each attachment upload in a separate file, the file name is arbitrary, but we recommend unambiguous name for better orientation in the enclosed files.

List of attachments and recommended filenames:

  • Structured CV 
    type - "Applicant's CV"
    recommended name - cv.pdf

  • Brief justification for the application for study
    type - "Applicant's motivation letter"
    recommended name - motivation.pdf

  • List of publication – including the Bachelor and Master theses
    type - "Generic appendix to the application"
    recommended name - publication.pdf
  • Certificate of master's degree
    - Upload it immediately when you submit your application if you already have it, otherwise as soon as possible after you receive it. If it is not available at the time of application, it can be completed later by the deadline specified in the admission conditions.
    - it does not require to be officially certified - scan all pages
    type - "Diploma / Nostrification"
    recommended name - diploma.jpg
  • List of completed courses in Master’s degree 
    type - "Diploma Supplement"
    recommended name - list-of-courses.pdf

  • List of completed courses in Bachelor’s degree 
    - only if the applicant is also a bachelor's graduate before submitting the application form.
    type - "Diploma Supplement"
    recommended name - list-of-courses-bc.pdf

  • Master thesis in paper or electronic form or its brief content
    - this does not apply to graduates from Master’s degree at UWB FAS
    type - "Generic appendix to the application"
    recommended name - diploma-thesis.pdf
  • Nostrification (applies only to students who have completed a previous master's degree at a foreign university)
    - Upload it immediately when you submit your application if you already have it, otherwise as soon as possible after you receive it. If it is not available at the time of application, it can be completed later by the deadline specified in the admission conditions.
    - it does not require to be officially certified - scan all pages
